Recap

Just to recap my day:
-more or less yelled at
-sprayed in pop
-forced to dumpster dive
-felt defeated

3BT:
1. Home cooking from a very nice Chinese lady
2. Long shower complete with fancy shampoo and conditioner
3. Watching a movie featuring rugby with actors I recognize from other movies

Oh where....

is my paperwork?

I have a problem putting important items in "safe" places and then forgetting where said safe place is.

From keys to new debit cards to the current problem of my tax forms. I guess I shouldn't have waited so long.

Dang.

3BT:
1. Naps
2. Legos
3. Manicures

Stuff I'm good at...

-curb checks (the vehicular kind, not the brutal, violent kind...thanks* internet)
-'emotional eating'

I'll stop the list there.

3BT:
1. Not running the a/c and instead opening the windows
2. Dexter season 4 on DVD, even though he is currently suffering from an idiot phase
3. Kleenex, band-aids other general hba (health & beauty aid) type items

TTFN.

*sarcasm...I believe I knew this action before but didn't need reminded

Jan. 20th, 2010

Sometimes...

...I forget to breathe. Like during interviews. Or when running.
That must be why I don't run much.

3BT:
1. Angel food cake
2. Birthday wishes, etc.
3. Sale items

Funny stuff

Check out SuperNews! and the clip "I Don't Want To Go Bowling"...it sums up how I feel about texting most of the time.

I don't mind the occasional conversation, but I would definitely take a 2 minute spoken one over a 20 minute texting round to accomplish the same thing. (I like the ability to text in some situations, just not all.)

3BT:
1. That hopeful feeling you get in anticipation of a haircut: "this is gonna be the best one yet!" (not that this happens all the time)
2. Planners...I like seeing my day written down, and not having to remember everything.
3. Video On Demand (I finally saw the musical Buffy episode)

P.S. - Speaking of VOD, be wary. When the description refers to a bear in a bookstore backroom...they don't always mean the furry woodland creature from the Goldilocks story, especially if the video is hosted by the LOGO network. Thankfully I caught on early and found the musical Buffy instead.

I'm feeling perpetually snowed in with the weather right now. Not that I have anywhere to go, but I would like the option to still be there. It's been an adventure pushing cars out of drifts multiple times. Especially on Christmas. We survived, though I sadly discovered that my snow boots are no longer waterproof. Time for a new pair it seems.

No resolutions for the new year, per se, I do see myself moving out in the near future and keep daydreaming about different furniture and a new bed. That said I do have the notion in the back of my mind that I will eventually exercise more and eat better, but that's a perpetual thing, not induced by the new year.

3BT:
1. Warm socks
2. Chick flicks
3. Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea

Like O, Like H

Because I don't like writing FB notes but still wanted to do this.

1. Put your iPod (or any MP3 player) on shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer
3. YOU MUST WRITE THAT SONG NAME DOWN NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS

1) IF SOMEONE SAYS "IS THIS OKAY" YOU SAY?
"House" - Daniel Licht (Dexter Soundtrack)
*No vocals...I guess I would say nothing, seems pretty passive aggressive to me

2) WHAT WOULD BEST DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?
"Dream Weaver" - Gary Wright (Wayne's World Soundtrack)
*This made me smile, especially considering my previous Wayne's World reference

3) WHAT DO YOU LIKE IN A GUY/GIRL?
"I Me Mine" - The Beatles (Let It Be)
*Either I want him to be mine, or I want him to be greedy(?)

4) HOW DO YOU FEEL TODAY?

*It's nice to know my friends like my company, at least in opposition to being around an ex

8) WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT VERY OFTEN?
"A Forest" - The Cure (Greatest Hits)
*With all the Smokey ads on tv I've seen lately, I suppose I do

9) WHAT IS 2+2?
"Bill Bailey, Won't You Please Come Home" - Bobby Darin (The Hit Singles Collection)
*[Insert something clever here]

10) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR BEST FRIEND?
"Heartbeats" - The Gossip (That's Not What I Heard)
*Aww, love

11) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE PERSON YOU LIKE?
"Mama" - My Chemical Romance (The Black Parade)
*'We all go to hell', interesting

12) WHAT IS YOUR LIFE STORY?
"Rocket Man" - Elton John (Greatest Hits)
*'I think it's gonna be a long, long time' can I take it out of context like that?

"Cry Ophelia" - Adam Cohen (Songs from Dawson's Creek)
*A little depressing, but somewhat fitting

"Why Does the Sun Shine?" - They Might Be Giants (Here Comes Science)
*At least it's peppy

16) WHAT WILL THEY PLAY AT YOUR FUNERAL?
"Over Thinking" - Relient K (Two Lefts Don't Make A Right...But Three Do)
*Hmm.

17) WHAT IS YOUR HOBBY/INTEREST?
"When Planets Collide" - Viva Voce ( Barsuk Records: 2009 Amazon Digital Sampler)
*Hyperventilating

18) WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SECRET?

*I don't think this is my biggest secret

19) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR FRIENDS?
"Asereje" - Las Ketchup
*Love this song, Love my friends

20) WHAT'S THE WORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN?
"Constructing The Absence" - Sub Swara (Sample The World Through Music)
*No lyrics?

"Killing Time" - She Wants Revenge (She Wants Revenge)
*What a way to go, sounds kinda epic actually

22) WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU REGRET?
"Just A Little" - Sugar Ray (Sugar Ray)

"I Wanna Love You" - 98 Degrees (98 Degrees)
*Maybe I would change having bought this CD

29) WHAT HURTS RIGHT NOW?
"Madama Butterfly (1997 Digital Remaster) Atto Secundo: Un Bel Di Vedremo" (100 Best Digital Sampler)
*I download lots of free Amazon albums

30) WHAT WILL YOU POST THIS NOTE AS?
"Like O, Like H" - Tegan and Sara (The Con)

Conclusion: Not as fun as I would have hoped, but it further affirms that a) I download too* many free albums from Amazon, and b) my boyfriend has had too much free reign on my computer adding albums as well. No wonder I'm running out of space.

Oh well, it was a way to kill time, and hear songs I didn't even know I had.

3BT:
1. Feeling good about throwing things out that I couldn't let go of last time I tried clearing things out.
2. Free time (though I feel like/know I'm squandering it).
3. The anticipation of sending people snail mail. I like to think the recipients will be as excited to receive mail as I am when I realize it's not bills or junk mail.

*P.S.-I hate missing overused typos.

If you could hang out with any movie character for a day, whom would you choose as your sidekick?

It's a very tough decision, but Wayne Campbell could be fun, (with the hopes that Garth Algar would tag along too). I would have no problem cruising Aurora, eating at Makita's and oogling musical instruments.

Poor dogs

Not much to report. The park closed, my job ended, and now I'm just living at home, trying to find someone to hire me and getting ready for the holidays.
Currently watching a show about dogs and how pedigree ones are mutants and full of health problems. I'm such a sucker for heart-string-pulling animal shows and commercials. I actually have to change the channel when the ASPCA commercials come on tv.

3BT:
1. Watching Chauncy try to jump through snow drifts.
2. Finding Christmas presents I'm pretty sure the recipients will enjoy.
3. DVR...I feel like I abuse the technology, but it's really helping me catch up on one of my favorite shows "How Clean Is Your House?"...Kim and Aggie are so much fun.
